Monuments & Parks

Palermo

Walking through the alleys of the historic center and admiring the monuments of the Arab-Norman Itinerary, or the baroque or Art Nouveau facades of churches and palaces, and then relaxing in one of the wonderful gardens that the city offers, will make your holiday memorable. The artistic masterpieces that you can visit or admire in the company of your dog are numerous, such as the cathedral garden, the Zisa park, the fountain in Piazza Pretoria, the ancient Vuccirìa watering hole, the square in front of the Massimo theatre, the Quattro Canti of the city, and the Admiral’s Bridge, and you can then relax in the seventeenth-century park of Villa Trabia or the garden of Villa Giulia, where you can walk with your dog on a leash

A Region to Discover

Trapani

The Trapani area, with its valleys, its vineyards, and its salt pans, is a place of considerable charm. Among the most beautiful pearls of the area you will find Erice, a medieval village perched between sea and sky on a cliff, walking along its alleys which will give you a journey through time and a breathtaking view of the Egadi Islands and Monte Cofano. Nearby you will find San Vito Lo Capo, a town famous for its beautiful beach and the Cous Cous Fest, a food and wine festival that celebrates one of the area’s typical dishes, and which every year brings together chefs from all corners of the globe. This is an excellent stop to enjoy a good plate of fish couscous or, in the less touristy seasons, take a regenerating walk with your dog on the immense and wonderful beach.
