I studied at the faculty of Geology at the University of Catania and spent my childhood in close contact with the volcano. Grandson of the Alpine Guides from whom I take my name, at 18 I obtained the task of cataloging the scientific material of Salvatore Cucuzza, a well-known volcanologist from the University of Catania. Thus began my collaboration with INGV researchers. Thanks to the continuous research led, I am carrying out a project with the help of Doctor Stefano Branca, which I presented at the Etna Park headquarters entitled: “The documentary and photographic archive of Salvatore Cucuzza”. I am a member of the CNSAS and am part of the management of the C.A.I. headquarters. of Linguaglossa and in 2016 I obtained the qualification of O.N.C.
